The Vineyard

To discover Croze-Granier

Laurent CORTINAS took over Domaine Croze-Granier in 2000. In 2012, by respect for the terroir and to get the best of Châteauneuf-du-Pape Croze-Granier vineyards Laurent CORTINAS successfully earns the BIO organic certification for Domaine Croze-Granier.

The Domaine Croze-Granier vineyards spread over 4 hectares of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 6 hectares of Lirac and 6 hectares of Côtes-du-Rhône appelations.

In 2012 Laurent Cortinas and his team completely restructures the vineyards.

Since 2012 all our wines are certified BIO, the French organic label.

Critics and connoisseurs highly appreciate Croze-Granier's wines...

Cuvée Elise - White

Limpid gold. Fresh melon and honey, pear and orange nectar with a fragrant nose. The texture is silky and seamless, with flavors of dried melon and orchard fruits, and a smoky mineral undertone that develops with air.

87/100

Vinous with Josh Raynolds - 2017

Cuvée Elise - White

Apple skin, some hard cheese, some oxidative orange peel character on the finish. It tries hard, but it's a bit hollow in the middle.

16/20

Jancis Robinson - 2017

Ancien Domaine des Pontifes  - Red

Fermented in concrete and then aged for 12 months in stainless steel.

Vibrant, herbaceous uplift of potpourri and bouquet garni.

It may be full-bodied but there is a lot of energy and a mineral dimension so often overlooked in 2017.

Structural rather than fruity or deep.

91/100

Decanter with Matt Walls - 2017
